The Steadman Clinic offers a twelve month athletic training fellowship program for certified athletic
trainers. Upon completion, the athletic trainer will have completed clinical time with experts in spine, hip, knee, ankle and foot as well as shoulder, elbow and hand with a strong emphasis on
sports medicine. There is time spent in the operating room, on the sidelines and at other venues providing outreach coverage and in the Steadman Philippon Research Institute attending bioskills
labs, conducting research and collaborating with the Biomechanics team. After working directly with the highly respected physicians and staff at The Steadman Clinic in Vail, Colorado, you can
expect to reach your highest goals professionally as an athletic trainer/physician extender.
The Steadman Clinic athletic training fellowship program hosts certified athletic trainers from the last couple of weeks in July until July 31st of the following year. The athletic training fellowship consists of rotations listed above. During their time here, the athletic training fellows will attend continuing education talks and grand rounds to further their Sports Medicine knowledge and experience.
