We are recruiting a highly skilled orthopaedic Physician Assistant/Practice Director to work for one of the most sought after physicians in his sub-specialty. As a Practice Director, you will manage and direct this successful surgeon's sports medicine practice. You will work with a team of 5 professionals to ensure that patients receive the very best medical care available.
Ultimately as physician assistant/practice director, you are responsible for ensuring that all aspects of this busy sports medicine practice are addressed in a timely and organized manner. Part of your responsibilities will include managing, coordinating and directing the day-to-day operations of the clinical practice. From time to time you may be asked to assist in surgery, to hold clinics for post-op and pre-op patients, to provide patient education, and to manage post op care as the physician requests. Since many of the patients come from out of state or out of the country many require additional assistance with planning their visit to the clinic. You will need to be comfortable and confident handling difficult medical conditions, as well as being able to work with patients in a very caring, thoughtful and professional manner.

Summary of Job Description:
Position supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of both The Steadman Clinic (TSC) and Steadman Philippon Research Institute (SPRI). The Executive Assistant to our Senior Management is a vital role being a partner to the CEO/CFO to support the responsibilities they have in leading the organization. The Assistant must represent Senior Management, The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute to our employees, physicians, vendors, the communities we do business in and the media. The position requires poise and people skills. In addition to the clerical, reporting, administrative and scheduling duties required of an assistant, an executive assistant's job description also typically includes a working knowledge of the executives' duties, to not only effectively schedule the executives' appointments, but also ensure work flow is productive and objectives are achieved. The position will require project work and project management for the CEO/CFO's work. Position requires direct support to Senior Management, and is to be the lead administrative person on all matters relating to the activities of Senior Management, and act as the primary liason between the CEO/CFO and internal/external contacts. The successful candidate will embody the core values and commitments of The Steadman Clinic and Steadman Philippon Research Institute and project those values onto all work projects and interactions with others. Will also train and supervise other executive assistant staff working on Senior Management related projects and responsibilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Calendar - Maintains the business and personal calendar of events and daily schedule of the CEO/CFO, ensuring they are briefed and provided relevant materials for meetings and appointments, including but not limited to the following items: Meetings, both business and personal; travel, business, personal and family; personal appointments; personal commitments.
Travel arrangements - Supervises all international and domestic travel arrangements (airline, hotel, car service, etc.) for the CEO/CFO, their family, and other company executives as directed.
Office Functions - Manages and performs all administrative tasks for the CEO/CFO including monitoring incoming phone calls and correspondence, maintaining a current and organized filing, photocopying and scanning, and updating his personal and professional contacts and task list.
Confidential Information - Maintains the confidentiality of sensitive information that may be divulged directly or indirectly.
Presentations and Appearances - Prepares documents and presentation materials for companies and outside activities including marketing presentations, brochure and advertising copy. Quarterly reports, meeting minutes, proposals, and other documents as directed. Edit and proofread proposals, correspondence, speeches, and any other materials prepared by staff for accuracy, clarity and proper formatting.
Project Management - Follows through to completion with delegated assignments while managing multiple projects that are completed within realistic deadlines.
Additional Responsibilities - In addition to the described tasks, this position will maintain responsibility of the following items: manage food and beverage orders and other special event items, have a keen knowledge of contribution laws, process all contributions and maintain contribution records. Organize fundraising efforts and event planning of behalf of the CEO/CFO.

Associate's degree required. Must have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point). 3-5 years related experience preferred.
